Introduction

AMGK is an autonomous board of education with its global headquarters at Cakradhuri Campus at Anandanagar (India) that nurtures all neohumanist educational institutions around the world. The purpose of AMGK is to serve humanity with a neohumanist spirit and to acquire knowledge for that purpose. Cakradhuri functions under the Kulapati, Acarya Shambhushivananda Avadhuta. He is assisted by scholars from all around the globe.

AMGK runs an innovative learning center near Chitmu Pump House where village tribal children learn without books, can recite the slokas drawn from old scriptures, practice meditation for ten minutes, do regular yoga asanas, do dhvaj-vandana, sing Prabha’ta Samgiita songs, become conversant with scientific facts about space science, can say thank you in 35 languages of the world, gain insights into body’s anatomy and physiology, use different musical instruments like violin, harmonium, flute etc. and do art work.

Ananda Marga Gurukul Academy is an online initiative to prepare local disadvantaged boys and girls for national competitive examinations so that they can build their careers in a nice way. Online classes are held from 4.30am to 6.30 am. In addition, some exceptional students are provided study-materials and guidance besides being given mock examinations to prepare them for high profile jobs. This initiative has made Ananda Marga Gurukula as a prime educational hub for all serious students.

AMGK Teachers Training College prepares boys and girls for B.Ed course. which is approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Soon a Pharmacy College and Nursing College is also planned to be setup along with a hundred bed hospital.

A Herbal Pharmacopia Center will soon set up a herbal farm and offer regular certificate courses on Ayurveda and local herbs.

AMGK is proposed multi-faculty University in the making. 88 sanctuaries established by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiiji has laid the foundation for an eco-township in the most neglected and impoverished areas of the world.

A Prabhat Samgeet Academy is set up near Pundag Station to provide training in 5019 songs of Prabhat Samgiita composed by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji from 1982-1990. This initiative is led by the Vidya Pratinidhi of Music and Fine Arts faculty of AMGK.
